A Board Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist for over 6 years plus 6 years as a registered nurse, Emily Anderson started her professional career at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington DC in Intensive and Critical Care.
Emily considers it her mission to make natural healthcare practical and easy to understand for her patients and empowers them to be healthy in all stages of their life. Emily uses a wholistic and whole body systems approach to her care, treatments and recommendations. She strongly believes that to achieve optimal health and well-being the entire person (mind, body and soul) must be considered in order for people to reach their goals. Emily’s diverse background includes hospital critical care, intensive care, cardiovascular and palliative care giving her a unique ability to quickly connect with her patients on a level they appreciate and makes sense to them.
With advanced training in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, hcg weight loss, shockwave therapy for erectile dysfunction, prp for hair loss, IV nutrition therapy and nutritional medicine. She takes a functional and individualized approach with the knowledge and confidence that the body was built to heal.
Emily works diligently with her patients, asks great questions to tailor and optimize a plan that works for them. Knowing that each person is unique and different, she is able to make recommendations based their unique needs. Guiding them to success, patients take an active role in their care. An avid learner and researcher, patients rave about her positive and upbeat demeanor and ability to “put all the pieces together.” Patients appreciate her compassion and positive energy as she supports their goals. In 2014, Minnesota became the 19th state to provide patients with full and direct access to Nurse Practitioner Services, thus retiring the requirement that Nurse Practitioners maintain career-long collaborative agreements with physicians.
