What FemiWave Can Do for Women
Women go through a lot in life that can affect their ability to be sexually satisfied. Having children, becoming older, and eventually experiencing perimenopause and menopause can lower women’s sex drive and cause other issues like urinary incontinence.
It can be a challenge to maintain a healthy libido and manage a busy home and work life at the same time, especially if there is an underlying health issue. Fortunately, there are new therapies that can increase a woman’s sexual satisfaction like FemiWave.
Health providers have been recently using FemiWave, a new, non-invasive procedure to boost women’s libido, restore natural lubrication, and dramatically improve urinary incontinence.
What Is FemiWave?
Femiwave is a type of acoustic (sound) wave therapy in which low-intensity sound waves are directed toward the outer and inner labia and clitoral body which can restore and improve sensation and sexual enjoyment.
The procedure helps to stimulate activity in blood vessels, which in turn increases nerve activity around the vaginal area and the clitoral body.
Patients may also experience neurogenesis, the regrowth of weakened vaginal tissue, which contributes to vaginal sensitivity making orgasms easier to achieve. Several clinical studies have been conducted that show the procedure restores healthy tissue and increases blood flow.
Benefits of FemiWave
One of the striking benefits of FemiWave over other therapies and medications is that the effects can last multiple years. Additional benefits include:
- Drug and laser free
- No side effects
- Safe for patients who have had a hysterectomy
- Increased sensitivity means shorter arousal time
- Control over urinary continence
- Tightens vaginal wall, improves the appearance
- Increased self-confidence
- Breaks down any existing scar tissue
- Increases the health of mucous membrane tissues
What Happens During the Procedure?
First, you will want to talk to a health practitioner who has the expert training and experience to perform the FemiWave procedure. During this initial consultation, you’ll get answers to your questions and discuss which treatment programs will be best for you.
Most patients are scheduled for 6 to 12 sessions that last around 20-30 minutes each. Prep time for the first procedure will be longer than the others so be sure to arrive around 30 minutes beforehand so you have time to apply a numbing cream needed for the session. For future appointments, you can apply the cream before you arrive at the clinic.
There is no recovery time for each session so you may do everything as you normally would. You can even have sex.
If you’re having trouble getting aroused and don’t want to deal with side effects caused by medications, let’s talk.
