Pelvic Floor Therapy

At Medstudio, our pelvic floor therapy tackles urinary incontinence and sexual health issues head-on. One treatment uses High-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology, which means no pain and no downtime. Many women can notice results right away and others it can take several weeks. Another effective treatment is called GAINSWave for Her and many women will combine these treatments for the best results.

Treatment Process

• You'll remain fully clothed throughout the session.
• You'll sit comfortably on a chair paddle for about 28-30 minutes.
• The chair paddle uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to stimulate your pelvic floor muscles.

Sensations During Treatment

• The procedure is painless and free of side effects.
• You'll likely experience some tingling sensations in your pelvic area.
• You may or may not be able to feel micro contractions of your pelvic floor muscles.
• These micro contractions may feel unusual but not uncomfortable.

Muscle Contractions

• During a single 28-minute session, your pelvic muscles will contract thousands of times.
• These micro contractions are much more intense than what can be achieved through voluntary Kegel exercises.

After the Session

• There is no downtime after the treatment.
• You can return to your normal activities immediately after the session.

Results

• Some patients report noticing improvements after one session, while other may take several weeks.
• Optimal results are typically seen after completing the full treatment course, which is usually 6 sessions over 3-6 weeks.
